As we evolve our structure to better serve our customers, we are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to proactively support and enable the Clothing & Footwear category teams to deliver against the agreed demand and commercial targets within their categories - putting the customer at the heart of everything As Assistant Merchandiser you will be:

As an Assistant Merchandiser at Studio, you will be:

  • Implementing the merchandising element of the critical path that delivers the category strategy.
  • Producing accurate merchandising information to enable robust decisions to be made, using category management tools to maximise trading opportunities and drive the performance of the range.
  • Raising accurate purchase orders for products within the category range so that demand can be met
  • Working collaboratively and proactively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to maximise availability.

Within the trading Function; each Assistant Merchandiser has specific accountability for a delegated range of products within the category range.

It is anticipated that the Assistant Merchandiser will gain a basic knowledge of merchandising and a good understanding of their delegated product area.


They should also have the following:

  • Teamworking and good communication skills
  • Experience of working with external suppliers
  • Good influencing skills
  • Sound commercial and numerical skills including detailed analysis
  • Data savvy
  • Ability to understand data and run and present reports
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence peer groups
