The
Beal Group of companies is a family run business, focused on supplying commercial têxtiles into the agriculture, modular building, transport, logistic and oil & gas sectors as well as several other sectors including construction, air-motive, automotive, graphic advertising, defence, and leisure.
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Maintenance Manager.

Duties include but not limited to

Maintaining the grounds of a commercial property,
Carrying out repairs throughout the factor and office
Perform general maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs etc
Conduct minor plumbing repairs.
Perform routine health and safety checks to ensure that fire alarms, fire extinguishers and other safety equipment are up to date.

What you will need to undertake this role

A background in some maintenance or experience within a handyman/women role
A fair all round knowledge of several trades, plumbing, electrics, joinery, decorating, drainage or a willingness to learn
A cando attitude with attention to detail and excellent workmanship
Ability to work as part of a team and meet agreed deadlines for completion
Good communication skills and ability to direct the work of outside contractors when required
Effective organisational skills and multitasking capabilities
Valid UK driving licence is essential
Some experience in maintenance or construction is desirable.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 3.00pm Friday
