Job Purpose

Pay Saturday and Sunday hour are paid at time plus 1/3.

To provide a high-quality catering service to patients, staff and visitors, maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Prepare and serve meals and beverages in full compliance with food hygiene standards and regulations and in accordance with the specification.

Carry out the preparation and delivery of food and beverage services and to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within kitchens, dining rooms and associated catering premises in accordance with the specification.

To be responsive to service needs as they arise and to constantly seek to improve the productivity and quality of the service.

Participate and engage in merchandising awareness to maximise sales opportunities in line with the Company's 'Cutting Edge' marketing manual.

All work must be undertaken in line with health, safety, security and Company and Trust policies and procedures including infection control.

The post holder may work in an environment where they could be exposed to sensitive circumstances.

In this role the post holder will be required to hold or obtain a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. This can be provided as part of the training period.
