We have exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Orthotist with a positive outlook to join a large well-developed clinical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a long established In-house NHS service within Greater Manchester, consisting of 11 Orthotists.

The position will give the post holder extensive exposure to all areas within Orthotics including Major Trauma, spinal, neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and paediatrics, as well as mentorship and the peer support network you would expect being part of a larger clinical team

We will welcome applicants with a good general overall experience within Orthotics as well as new graduates, as we are able to offer ongoing support and mentoring to rapidly develop individual clinical knowledge and skills

You will work as part of a team delivering and providing the Orthotic service across the NCA. This includes inpatient and outpatient services across 3 acute sites, as well as some community clinics.

You will undertake your own clinical caseload providing clinical examination and assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

You will be expected to do this within an appropriate timeframe and with suitably sourced orthoses for prescription, quality, and cost.

You will work within BAPOs best practice guidelines and ensure the planned outcome measures for patients' Orthotic management are met
