Description

The key responsibilities of the Finance Administrator include:

  • To assist in the efficient processing of sales invoices and credits, ensuring correct levels of approval and correct coding to the accounts
  • Processing and controlling of the EDI sales invoice process for invoicing all sales including reviewing any system warnings
  • Setting up Accounts Receivable DD collection runs, reporting and forecast
  • Managing commercial utility accounts for large portfolio of property and housing
  • Processing of Accounts Payable invoices from all areas of the business
  • Processing of cash receipts and payments from bank statements.
  • Assisting with the annual company audit in providing information to auditors.
  • To ensure all customer changes are accurately reflected in the accounting system within established deadlines
  • Adhoc duties as required by the Manager

Profile

The successful Finance Administrator will have:

  • Experience within an accountancy role
  • Experience of double entry bookkeeping
  • Highly desirable
  • Willingness to learn and develop within finance
  • Proficient in Excel including V-Look Ups and Pivot tables would be beneficial
  • AAT studier or relevant degree
  • Desirable but not essential
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Comfortable communicating via telephone
  • Professional working attitude
  • Experience using accounting software
