Your New Role
Nigel Wright have the pleasure of working with an excellent prestigious business based on the outskirts of Darlington. They are seeking to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant.
The business is undergoing a period of change in processes, size and scope of works to support the continued investment and redevelopment projects.
The business is split into 7 diverse divisions, which you will be heavily involved in.Reporting directly intothe Chief Finance Officer, you will join an ever evolving Finance Team, who is excited for this period of change.
Duties & Responsibilities
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for;
- Preparation and review of month end reports for both projects and ongoing business.
- Support with year end reporting, VAT returns and tax return preparation.
- Business Partner with the project teams to streamline project reporting and budget management.
- Business Partner with Department Managers to provide financial guidance and analysis.
- Design and implement a quarterly forecast process.
- Support the creation of a new management reporting suite.
You Will Be/Have
As the Management Accountant, you will be/have;
- Either CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Qualified.
- A proactive approach to change with an ability to manage own workload and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver information in a concise manner to all parts of the business.
- Technical and project awareness to support with implementation of new software and systems.
- Power BI (or similar system) exposure preferred.
- Experience in a multisite/entity company preferred.
