An exciting opportunity for two Facilities Assistants to join our dedicated team based out of our Newton Park Campus.

About the role:

Both roles are Monday to Friday, the first role is 6am - 2pm and the second from 10am - 6pm.

The role involves driving between our sites at Newton Park, Locksbrook, Central Bath, Sion Hill and Corsham Court. There will also be driving further afield to our campus in London and other locations nationwide occasionally.

The role is varied and comprises of waste collections, deliveries, room set ups, post runs, small maintenance tasks, cleaning and supporting events such as open days and graduations.

There is the expectation to work occasional weekends and evenings which plenty of notice will be provided beforehand. We are a large friendly team and strive to offer our students, staff and visitors a positive supportive experience.

About you:

You will have excellent customer service skills and always a smile and positive 'can do' attitude.

Flexible and able to prioritise tasks, you will enjoy being part of a large team and only too willing to support colleagues, sometimes without much notice, in response to constant changing needs of the University.

The role requires someone who is able to lift and carry often heavy items so manual handling training will be provided along with PPE.

Additional information:

Grade 3 £22,681 - £24,533 per annum

2 roles available:

1 x 6am - 2pm

1 x 10am - 6pm

Driving licence essential for this position
