The Global Investors & Listed team is a coverage business within the Real Estate & Housing business, a key part of Corporate Institutional Banking.

We originate, structure, implement and distribute a wide range of products, from term investment loans and revolving credit facilities to more sophisticated development, bridging and business plan driven financings.
We're able to provide fully underwritten facilities of all sizes against all major asset classes on both a secured and unsecured basis as well as a full suite of rates, currency hedging, DCM and global transaction banking solutions.
You'll have responsibility for the management of a portfolio in excess of £1.5bn of lending acrosss 20+ Global Investor & Listed clients.
You'll market the full range of products and services ensuring an acceptable level of profit, risk and return in line with agreed business plans.
This role provides a tremendous opportunity to drive and lead our targeted growth aspirations in a fast paced environment.Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and continue to build a designated portfolio of customer relationships identifying and satisfying customer needs in a 'Client First' manner, meeting the Bank's credit and profitability requirements.
- Lead a proactive contact strategy for both prospective clients and professional introducers in order to fulfil the requirement of the Industry team and CRE sector business plan.
- Prepare and present responses to invitations to tender for new and existing business, liaising with other Product Partners and wider Group partners to maximise the potential for overall business returns as well as tailoring solutions to clients needs
- Negotiate terms and conditions of credit facilities and service, ensuring legal and other documentation is compliant with credit sanction, bank and regulatory policy in order to minimise risk.
- Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members as required, so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business undertaking the recruitment process when required. What you'll need:
- Outstanding relationship management skills, ideally with CRE sector / industry experience
- A proven track record managing a portfolio in excess of £250M of lending
- Excellent planning & organisational skills
- Strong background in leading negotiations on facility documentation
