Actuarial Contract - London, United Kingdom - Oliver James Associates
Description
Oliver James are representing a major Life insurance client who require actuarial contractors to support in the Liquidity Management Team.
The client is open to both project actuaries and lead actuaries. The contractor could support on BAU Liquidity management or Project work.The ideal contractor will be a qualified actuary with experience in Liquidity or Asset reporting. Experience in Capital Management (risk calibration/aggregation, back testing, automation, business readiness) could also be considered.
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Rate:
£ /day depending on experience.
Start:
ASAP up to August 2023
Location:
Home working (UK based only)
Responsibilities:
- Support the Liquidity Management team
- Regular reporting of month MI
- Project work:
- Impact of business decisions on Liquidity
- Implications of other projects e.g. Part VII, on liquidity
- Process Improvement
- Liquidity optimisation, automation, risk calibration, back testing/testing requirements.
Desired Experience:
- Qualified or Experienced Actuary
- Liquidity/assets reporting experience
- Applicants for the lead role should have experience leading work or teams on work.
- Desired: Risk calibration/aggregation, back testing, automation, business readiness
- Recent handson technical experience.
