Job Title:
Purchasing Specialist

Location:
Oxford, Oxfordshire, UK, OX4 6NL (2 days on site)

Job Type: 12 month rolling contract

The Role:


  • An indirect buyer role working for and on behalf of the Group's UK & IRL manufacturing and nonmanufacturing operations.
  • The role covers a variety of commodity areas, especially with a focus on services, and requires much crossfunctional teamwork.
  • Looking for an enthusiastic, highperforming purchasing professional, ideally with multi£million project & services purchasing experience.
  • Being a selfstarter and able to effectively balance multiple demands in a qualityorientated business environment are crucial.
  • Applicants should have at least 25 years purchasing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchasing activities, including but not limited to:
  • Management of sourcing activities.
  • Commercial and legal negotiations.
  • Process partner relationship management.
  • Supplier relationship & performance management.
  • Commodity strategy.

Other Notable Duties

  • Adhoc department tasks.
  • Meeting facilitation and management.

Essential Skills

  • Problemsolving.

Beneficial Skills & Experience

  • Purchasing of [INSERT COMMODITY AREA].
  • Project management.
  • Contract law.
  • MS Office (especially Excel).
  • German language.
