We're building an amazing team and we're looking for a friendly and passionate Receptionist to support us on our journey.


A dedicated Receptionist to handle client-facing duties as well as general office administration tasks that facilitate the smooth running of the office.


The Receptionist needs to have an ear to the ground and be aware of everything that's going on in Tandem, from knowing which important meetings will be taking place to co-ordinating deliveries and organising travel arrangements for staff.

You'll also often be the first person that our people and potential clients see, so you're always representing the company.


  • Screening phone calls and enquiries for the business and handling them where appropriate.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority.
  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor passes.
  • Organising and maintaining diaries for meeting rooms.
  • Arranging lunch for any training or statutory meetings taking place as directed by the PA.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post. Printing regulatory notices ready for posting.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and colleagues for any facility requirements.
  • Management of office supplies; stock checks, ordering supplies including stationery, tea, coffee, etc.
  • Liaising with Facilities Assistant for any maintenance and H&S requirements across the business.
  • Conducting weekly fire alarm testing.

What we're looking for:


Essential:

  • Great organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with word, outlook, and other Microsoft packages.
  • Fantastic communication skills both face to face and telephony.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines
