Due to continued success, our fantastic and highly reputable client are now looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR Team in Milton Keynes


You will work closely with HR colleagues across the business to monitor, review and update HR policies in line with current legislation and best practice, Effectively maintains accurate employee information manually or in a Human Resources Information System.

This role will be based on site at the offices in Central Milton Keynes so you will need to live within a commutable distance


Duties:


  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring to operations, offering objective and practical on all employee relations matters as necessary.
  • Update internal HR systems with leavers, transfers, disciplinary information and any additional adhoc HR information.
  • Maintain employee information and documentation in line with compliance and audit requirements
  • Support with the requirements of the business objectives by participating in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Work closely with business area managers to identify trends and implement initiatives to reduce absence. Support operations managers and team leaders in ensuring that the absence management policy is being adhered to.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of existing policies and procedures to support routine and non‐routine inquiries from team members, retirees, beneficiaries, and/or applicants regarding recruitment, employment, benefits, payroll, record keeping, and Assists more junior colleagues.

Skills & Experience:


  • Uptodate Regulatory Knowledge
  • CIPD Qualified to Level 3 (Minimum)


  • Effective Communication

  • Written and Oral & Strong questioning, negotiating/probing skills
  • HR experience needed minimum of 1 2 years
  • Planning and Organising
  • Fiscal Orientation
  • Critical and Analytical Thinking
