Tradewind are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in of our lovely schools in Manchester.

This full-time position is to start in March, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis, thisrole could become permanent, and you may be offered a school contract.


Details of the role:

You will be supporting one individual child, on a 1:1 basis. Your responsibilities will be supporting the child with their behavior, social integration, and academic work.

You will work as a team with the class teacher and other professionals in the schoolto support progress and emotional wellbeing.


Your day-to-day could include:


  • Support an individual child with their behavior and emotional development
  • Assisting an individual child with their academic work
  • Working with other staff members to discuss progress and adapt learning


Our market leading rates or pay range between £ per day depending on the role and your level of experience.

  • Have school-based experience
  • Ideally have experience supporting children with SEND
