Role Purpose


We are currently recruiting for Approved Operators to be based at our customer Airbus's site at
Broughton, Wales. These roles will be responsible for repair and rework of Spirit manufactured assemblies to engineering defined standards using both recognised manual and automated technologies.

In addition, you will undertake Operations support roles as required and provide guidance and support to other areas of the business as and when necessary.


Approved Operator Grade A

This opportunity, based at our
Broughton site offers:


  • 37 hour working week (half day Friday)

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the manufacture of aircraft components built to customer specifications within agreed budget and timescales.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering instructions and meeting the agreed customer specifications.
  • Personally responsible for ensuring and certifying that the quality of his/her work consistently meets specific standards required by the Company
  • Working within a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiencies to meet the changing needs of our market.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Work on own initiative or as part of team as required.


It is anticipated that selection for these positions will take place late April 2024 and will involve a practical test and a formal interview.
You will be required to bring your original apprenticeship paperwork with you should you be selected to attend the practical test.
