Departmental Affairs Coordinator
Salary from £31,960 to £36,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £39,432 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Departmental Affairs Coordinator will play a key role in providing professional and proactive administrative and operational support in the Department of International Relations, working closely with the Department Manager (DM) and Head of Department (HoD).
They will ensure the efficient operational management of departmental human, financial and physical resources, using initiative to undertake a broad range of activities.
They will act as an interface between the Department and a wide range of service divisions across the School, as well as with external stakeholders.
The post holder will have demonstrable strong experience in office administration and of working in a busy office environment. They should have excellent IT skills, experience of committee servicing and ideally experience in financial and HR administration.They should have exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with minimum supervision, often to tight deadlines.
They must also have the proven ability to plan, prioritise and manage a demanding and varied workload, and meet concurrent deadlines.
