Interim AD of CHC Transformation

Day to day duties:


  • Ensure the improved and ongoing performance of the CHC function for the ICS
  • Lead the CHC teams across the ICS and ensure highly efficient core operations
  • Ensure fully compliant and consistent services that improve patient outcomes
  • Maintain a clear line of sight of CHC activity and performance across ICS
  • Ensure compliance with National Frameworks and other statutory requirements
  • Provide professional leadership, advice, and guidance across the teams
  • Lead, nurture and inspire a multidisciplinary team of practitioners
  • Ensure a highquality service for people engaging with CHC services
  • Ensure that services are well managed with appropriate governance and assurance
  • Building close collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Partner with Local Authorities, commissioners, service providers and patient reps
  • Identify and build on best practice within the ICS
  • Encourage a highly skilled workforce by identifying and commissioning training

Person requirements:


  • Significant CHC experience across all levels
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of NHS infrastructure, governance and healthcare policy
  • Ability to present high level information to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures
