Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director level Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join the Colliers Project and Building Consultancy (P&BC), Energy & Sustainability (E&S) team during a period of growth for the business.
The role will support the E&S Directors with the scope to develop and grow the service through existing contacts, networking, CPD presentations and targeted marketing campaigns.
The role will involve working closely with the Building Surveying, Project Management, Cost Management, M&E and Environmental teams to provide a first-class service.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Providing a key advisory service to P&BC's clients in respect to their ESG targets:
- Conducting BREEAM in Use assessments
- Commercial EPC Assessor essential
- Supporting with BREEAM advice
- Conducting BREEAM support tasks (Daylighting / Overheating / LCA / etc )
- Knowledge and use of WELL / SKA / FitWell / LEEDS are desirable.
- Conducting Net Zero Carbon assessments (including CRREM)
- Preparing commercial and succinct reports for issue to clients
- Attending site visits across the UK to assess and advise on all ESG matters
- Conducting EPC's
- Conducting Section 63 assessments (Scotland only)
- Proficient in the use of IES / TAS / GiSBEM / SBEM / Design Builder
- Provide technical ESG support and advice to all P&BC internal teams
- Support the technical development of fee earners in ESG through mentoring and internal CPD's
- Providing quotations to Clients and internal P&BC team where required
- Management of project work, liaising with Clients and delivering on time.
- Providing support to the Directors of Energy & Sustainability
- Assisting in the growth of the service, through use of industry contacts, networking and thought leadership
- Liaising with Admin Teams and providing information where required
Qualifications:
- M&E background (desirable but not essential)
- Architectural background (desirable but not essential)
- Energy Institute or CIBSE Member
- Domestic and Commercial Energy Assessor
- Section 63 assessor (Scotland)
- ESOS assessor (desirable but not essential)
- BREEAM assessor (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to manage workload and that of others
- Excellent communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- UK Driving licence
