Description

Pastoral Assistant - Relief

We are seeking applicants who will be available to support with the smooth running of our Boarding Houses on a zero hours basis.

Variable hours are available including part-days, full days, and evenings over 34 weeks of school term. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have availability at weekends.

Starting salary from £11.42 per hour plus 5.6 weeks holiday pay.
At Cheltenham Ladies' College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils.

Around 720 girls will board with us in one of our 11 Sixth Form and Junior Boarding Houses and your role will be at the heart of our pastoral care as you support our dedicated, professional teams working under the direction of a Houseparent.

In addition to looking after our students' wellbeing, you will help with the day-to-day running of the house. You may have experience in a similar role but it is not essential.

We are interested in those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the development and welfare of young people, have common sense, a flexible attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.

Full training will be given.

College itself combines a rich heritage with an exciting future.

Approximately 900 pupils from 40 countries across the world benefit from the knowledge and expertise gained over the last 170 years.

Driven by innovation and challenge, we prepare our girls to achieve their full potential in a complex and changing world.

Interviews currently scheduled to be held w/c Monday 11 December 2023.

Applications will be considered as they are received, and College reserves the right to appoint at any time in the process.

We welcome female applicants only as this is a girls' boarding school. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act.

Cheltenham Ladies' College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
