You will be:

  • Joining the senior leadership team of a young and ambitious new division, in a newly configured role.
  • Focusing on delivering improved services to students, academics and professional service colleagues across the collegiate University. Reporting to the Head of Education Services, and overseeing Student Support
  • Taking the lead on development of policies and practices in the areas of student support, access and wellbeing. You will work with highperforming and committed colleagues to develop and deliver a strategy pulling together: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; academic, life and employability skills; and support for teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Leading on the development and delivery of a major contract with the local NHS for new student mental health services
  • Responsible for managing the University Counselling Service; the Accessibility and Disability Resource Centre; the Mental Health Advice Service; the Harassment and Violence Support Service; and the Student Wellbeing Service to ensure integration of provision
This is an exceptional opportunity to drive forward an area of activity of critical strategic importance to the University.

This position is a job share and you will need to work as one; the role holder will work (Wed-Fri) to ensure the full week is covered, and the handover between the job-share partners is smooth and seamless.
