Sewell Wallis is working with an excellent accountancy practice who are looking to expand their wonderful team.

This firm have several sites across Yorkshire and this particular role can be based out of their Horsforth, Huddersfield, Elland or Bradford site.

This role will report directly into the bookkeeping manager and there is currently 4 Bookkeepers meaning you'dbe joining a fantastic team who are all keen on supporting each other.

Although you'd mainly be looking after the clients specific to your site, the other bookkeepers are there to lean on if needed.

Duties will include:

  • Generate VAT Returns
  • Generate reports for clients
  • Processing client reports
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts
  • Preparing accounts to trial balance
  • Meet HMRC deadlines
  • Dealing with client queries

You will:

  • Be AAT qualified (Desirable)
  • Be familiar with Sage, Xero or Quickbooks
  • Be confident liaising with clients
  • Be adaptable
  • Be forward thinking
