Main Workflow Duties Identify relevant clinical information contained in patient correspondence Code or free text the clinical information on to the patient record Deal with queries relating to coding Main Prescription Duties Coordinate and prepare repeat prescriptions for our patients Data entry onto patient records Using EPS (electronic prescription service) Patient liaison Community pharmacy liaison Process letters relating to medication changes requested by our secondary care (hospital) colleagues Main Secretarial Duties Provide an efficient copy typing and word processing service for GPs and health professionals as required.

This includes the typing of letters, reports, patient referrals, minutes, memorandums, etc. in an accurate and quality manner. Assist the business manager with all clerical and administrative duties.

Make appointments, bookings and admissions as required. File patient records and correspondence in patient medical records.
