Full Job Description

The opportunity/Description:

Care Home with Nursing in Bradford, 57-room based in a pleasant suburb of Drighlington between Bradford and Leeds, located close to amenities, local shops and transport links. The home is staffed by a team of dedicated, caring professionals who provide 24/7 nursing and dementia care for our residents.

The specially-trained staff are able to provide various types of care for residents depending on their needs

Care provided includes:

Nursing care
Residential dementia care
Nursing dementia care

Who you are /person specification:

With your kind and compassionate nature, you'll love to spend time talking to residents, learning a life history, hobbies past and present, and what their favourite knock-knock joke is.

You'll take great pride in helping a resident to achieve the smallest of conquests. You smile through everything and you'll bring happiness to your work every single day.

A warm and friendly disposition
Good communication skills
Reliability, flexibility and motivation to work effectively with colleagues
Be able to follow instructions and direction
Good numeracy and literacy skills

Fully supported by your team, you'll work closely with our residents, their families, friends & carers to provide strong & safe, physical & emotional care.
You will be passionate to empower & support residents to achieve even the smallest of conquests through encouraging choice, independence & dignity.
With unparalleled kindness, you'll assist the everyday needs of our residents, from personal care & companionship to joining in with activities & events.
You'll be highly organised with excellent attention to detail & a willingness to learn.
You'll be talented in building strong & fulfilling relationships with your team our residents, families, friends & within the local community.
As part of the role, you may be requested to work some weekends.
