The Role:

VolkerHighways is an integrated highways service provider operating across London and the South of England.

Our goal is to deliver the best highways solutions within our industry through efficiency, responsibility and a focus on clients and their customers.

Our services include highways term maintenance, street lighting and electrical services, surfacing, traffic management and public realm infrastructure projects.

We are now looking for a Quality Advisor to facilitate implementation and development of the Quality Management system (QMS) for VolkerHighways.

Key Accountabilities:

To ensure that information, training and instruction and taskspecific advice on quality management meets the needs of employees and those working on our behalf.
To ensure that the QMS and associated supporting information incorporates construction and highways maintenance.
To ensure that the requirements of the QMS are being applied on operational projects and associated activities.
To monitor operational compliance to the QMS and the requirements of the BS EN ISO 9001:2015, ensuring implementation of effective improvement/preventive measures.
The reporting of quality related performance information, including but not restricted to audits, nonconformances, defects.
The effective use of Workspace and Project SMART functionalities in their relation to operational records.
To provide assistance to the Quality Manager and Business Development for Quality submissions for prequalification questionnaires and tenders.
All nonconformances are closed out within specified timescales.

Skills & Experience:

Associate Member/Practitioner Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) (or working toward).
ISO Management systems experience essential must have an understanding of ISO standards such as ISO 900
Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2015) with demonstrable experience of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits.
Certificate in Quality Management
Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) Certificate level 3 qualification (or working toward)
Demonstrable construction and highways maintenance experience is essential
Training and presentation experience throughout all levels of an organisation, preferably trained to 'Train the Trainer' level.
CSCS card holder.
