We're hiring for a
Purchasing Assistant to join a skilled and experienced workforce at an ultra-modern manufacturing facility based in
Sheffield.

What will you be doing as a Purchasing Assistant?

  • Assisting buyers and analysts with administrative tasks
  • Collaborating with QA and address mill documentation issues
  • Generating supply status reports for various departments upon request
  • Maintaining a professional demeanour when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders during supplier visits
  • Successfully handling requests from nonregular contacts and meet shortterm deadlines
  • Cultivating strong relationships with key supplier contacts to ensure regular receipt of supplier data

What do you need?

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • GCSE level in English, Maths & Science (or equivalent)
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
