The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) are looking to hire an Expert GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Inspector to perform a crucial role in providing technical leadership and guidance to support the conduct of inspections, development of inspection strategies and developing the Agency's GxP Compliance Teams.

If you have extensive GMP knowledge and manufacturing experience across a variety of dosage forms with an interest in influencing the global approach to inspections and medicines regulation, then this role should appeal to you.

The MHRA are looking for a motivated and experienced Inspector, who will lead the development of GxP Inspection Strategies and inspection models, linking Agency and Government priorities to the work of the Group and the wider GxP Compliance Teams, including development and integration of enabling inspections supporting innovation.

They will have a breadth of understanding and practical experience of modern concepts and practicalities underlying respective GxP inspections, with excellent verbal and numerical reasoning skills.


The post holder will represent the Compliance Teams, Group and Agency at both a national and international level amongst government, undertaking high profile presentations at conferences and chairing and participating in project groups.

They will play a role in the leadership of the Compliance Team as well as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
