Description

Assistant Purchasing & Contracts Manager sought by established nationwide Business to Business IT & Telecoms Service Provider for a new hybrid working role based close to Maidstone, Kent.

We are seeking an Assistant Purchasing & Contracts Manager who hasexperience in managing commercial relationships with suppliers & customers including reviewing, drafting, negotiating and managing contracts.

This new role has come about due to planned company expansion and reports to the Commercial Manager and has a startingsalary of up to £43,000 per annum + Company Benefits package.

You will be tasked to

  • Manage the commercial relationship with both internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, customers and other departments.
  • Working as part of the team to ensure the commercial viability of products and services sold through the business in respect of profitability. Supporting the procurement of new products and services including negotiating with suppliers plus the formationof Contracts.
  • You will work with the team to deliver all aspects of the commercial function for new and existing services including management of stock and assets, pricing and documentation.
  • You will also work closely with the finance team to ensure monitoring and improving commercial performance and managing debtors and creditors professionally.

You will be working for an established and growing Business to Business IT & TelecomsProvider company that has a large and substantial corporate and public sector client base.

As you would expect, this role also calls for someone with excellent communications skills who enjoys working within a team environment but is also happy to work onsolo projects.

You will hybrid home/office working after probation and be based in modern and spacious offices based close to Maidstone, Kent.

The role pays a salary of between £33,000 - £43,000 per annum depending on experience plus Company Benefits.
