Job Overview
Ideal4Finance requires a Compliance Monitoring Officer to carry out know your customer (KYC) checks and anti
- money laundering (AML) checks on new and existing Introducer Appointed Representatives' (IARs) contracts.

The role will work closely with our sales teams on new business checks and our relationship managers for the ongoing oversight of existing customers.


You will own all compliance and complaint logs within the business and will work with staff members and senior stakeholders to ensure these are updated and that the responsible persons are carrying out actions with the agreement timeframe.


You will attend Risk Committee to report on the compliance oversight of the portfolio and will update the committee on any warning signs or trends that you have identified.


This will be a busy and interesting role for an individual who prides themselves on being diligent and having attention to detail.

Full training will be provided.


Responsibilities:


  • Diary checks for the Sales Team to ensure prospective customers meet the appetite of Ideal4Finance.
  • Checking of completed new contracts to ensure that all required information is present and correct.
  • AML / KYC checks on all new contracts before onboarding and appointment as an IAR.
  • Responding to alerts from CreditSafe or other agencies as events occur within our portfolio of IARs.
  • Own and update all compliance and training logs ensuring the staff members complete their actions in a timely manner.
  • Working with the Relationship Managers, ensure that IARs are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
  • Working with the Personal Assistant to the CEO and MD, ensure that fit and proper tests are completed for Senior Management Function holders.
  • Assist the Head of Customer Relationships with any compliance related event.
  • Assist the SMF16 holder to discharge their duties under the Senior Management Regime.
  • Assist Risk Committee in the ongoing management of risk & control in the business.
