Band 5 Operating Department Practitioner (ODP):

Are you an experienced Operating Department Practitioner looking for temporary work at North Bristol NHS Trust? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team at Southmead Hospital, located on Southmead Road in Bristol.

As a Band 5 ODP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that each operation runs smoothly and safely, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative care.

Your shift will start at 08:00 am and end at 20:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

And the best part? You will be paid £343 per shift, with payment made through PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating theatre for procedures
Provide support and care to patients before, during, and after surgery
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
