Book Out Operative

Mon to Fri 5:30 am 1:30 PM and 1:30 PM 9:30 PM (weekly rotating shift)
Weekend working when required on a rota basis

What will you be doing?

Reporting directly to the shift supervisor/manager, you will play a leading part within the production team to help achieve the daily production plan whilst adhering to procedures, rules and processes set out by production management and other key functions.

Data inputting of deliveries on a computerized stock system and labelling up product with correct traceability.
Reporting product anomalies, label or packet issues shortage of stock that may affect the timely out loading of customer orders
Ensure that all customer orders are processed, labeled and secure so that they are presented to our customers to the highest possible standard as required.
Having a flexible approach to new procedures e.g. Scanning Labeling or Picking methods.
Assist when required in the loading/offloading of vehicles and the movement of stock or equipment around the site.
To maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc.), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site
To report any equipment defects immediately to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader
To assist during internal / external audits as required
Ensure that all stock rotation is adhered to, and old feedstock is booked out first.
