Manchester (Bury Office) with Nationwide Travel


Salary:
£32,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on ability)

Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated Surveyors to join our team based in the Manchester area (Bury Office).

As a Surveyor, you will play a vital role in our nationwide projects, requiring occasional travel and overnight stays away from home (3-4 nights a week).

Rest assured, accommodation and subsistence are fully covered during these periods, and a company-provided van is at your disposal for all work-related travel needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Conducting traverses with precision
  • Performing precise leveling tasks
  • Utilizing standard 3D targets and prisms for accurate measurements
  • Proficient use of Leica equipment
  • Data processing using NC4E, Starnet, Cyclone software (advantageous)
  • Adhering to railway competency PTS requirements
  • Working 40hour weeks with potential for overtime and weekend projects (1 in 4 expected)
  • Valid driver's license required

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Surveyor or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in traversing and precise leveling techniques
  • Familiarity with Leica equipment preferred
  • Ability to process data using NC4E, Starnet, Cyclone software (an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required
  • Valid full driver's license essential
