Job Title:
Early Years Practitioner Apprentice

Location:
Brighton, East Sussex

Salary:
£6 per hour ( negotiable depending on age and experience )

30-40 hours per week
Our client is a nursery based in Brighton, who are looking to hire an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice.

They believe that a 'home away from home' environment is key, and feel children learn best in a stimulating and nurturing environment, and therefore the successful applicant will be passionate, dedicated and willing to learn.

If you are looking for a career in childcare, this is a great opportunity to work whilst studying towards a recognised Level 2 qualification.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in the planning of the activities in the room to create a stimulating environment.
You will develop positive relationships with all the children and use your developing knowledge of child development to ensure their individual needs are consistently met to the highest standard.
You will be fully supported by staff and management during your training.
You will learn core skills and be supported to become the best practitioner you can be

Requirements:

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above

Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, salaries will be increased in line with qualified staff. With experience, there is potential for progression to Room Leader/Deputy.
