Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative for a well-known client based in the automotive industry. This is a great opportunity to work within their successful distribution warehouse.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday (with two Saturday's a month)
8:30AM 5:30PM

- £10.45 P/H

Duties include:

Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves
Collecting items from the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule
Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner or through a computer
Stock counting and location checks
Working on a fastpaced production line
Preparing, setting up and operating of plastic injection moulding machines
Achieving set production targets
Visual quality inspection of finished product
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment in accordance with 5S standards
Ensuring duties are performed safely and in accordance with all regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance

To be successful for this role:

Demonstrate good time keeping
Be flexible when needed
The ability to learn and progress
Able to commit to a shift pattern
Ability to work to tight targets and deadlines

Experience:

Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre is a bonus (but training will be provided)
Driving Licence (an advantage but not essential)
