Who we are looking for:

As the Credit Controller your focus will be managing credit control within your own set of customer accounts, meeting KPIs around cash collection and aged debt tracking.

What you'll do:

Proactive customer contact calls and letters
Running collection letters
Document retrieval / provision
Maintaining and enhancing good customer relations
Liaising with other departments to resolve queries.
Logging Queries/Debits to our Customer Service Team
Pursuing payment through regular telephone calls
Creating Customer Credit reviews for assessment.
Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time after escalation has failed.
Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs
Maintaining accurate records
Implementing changes in the company's credit control system

What you bring:

Over 4 years previous experience within Credit Control is essential.
Experience of managing debts directly with Customers via phone and letter
Excel and Mapics experience an advantage.
Experience working on own initiative and selfmanaging.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Proactive and assertive approach with positive and confident attitude
Strong written, oral and telephone skills
Good time management skills
Selfmotivated and able to work well on own
Knowledge of different payment terms, currency conversions, and legal regulations
