Who we are looking for:


As the Credit Controller your focus will be managing credit control within your own set of customer accounts, meeting KPIs around cash collection and aged debt tracking.


What you'll do:


  • Proactive customer contact calls and letters
  • Running collection letters
  • Document retrieval / provision
  • Maintaining and enhancing good customer relations
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve queries.
  • Logging Queries/Debits to our Customer Service Team
  • Pursuing payment through regular telephone calls
  • Creating Customer Credit reviews for assessment.
  • Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time after escalation has failed.
  • Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Implementing changes in the company's credit control system

What you bring:


  • Over 4 years previous experience within Credit Control is essential.
  • Experience of managing debts directly with Customers via phone and letter
  • Excel and Mapics experience an advantage.
  • Experience working on own initiative and selfmanaging.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive and assertive approach with positive and confident attitude
  • Strong written, oral and telephone skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Selfmotivated and able to work well on own
  • Knowledge of different payment terms, currency conversions, and legal regulations

Hours of work:37 per week

Monday-Thursday 08.30am-4.30pm & Friday's 08.30am-4pm
