Are you a Support Worker looking for Waking Nights within a well establish residential children's care provider?

Look no further


Degree Six recruitment has been providing temporary Support Workers to majority of Young People Residential Homes across Leicestershire since 2014.

We are currently working with a client who are looking for additional support for their portfolio of children's homes in Leicestershire, specifically for their waking night shifts.

The client is well established and has a great reputation with the market, the currently care for 800 children across the country.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:


  • Being awake and alert during the night in case our client requires assistance
  • Nighttime support including personal care
  • Logging any nighttime activity
  • Handovers to daytime staff
  • Home Help possible light cleaning, washing and domestic chores whilst client sleeps
  • You will stay awake overnight as the residence sleep.

ABOUT YOU:


To be successful at this role you will need to be passionate about working with young people & really want to make a difference to the lives of those you provide support to.


Basic requirements for this position:

  • Level 3 qualification (NVQ) within Children & Young People (preferred)
  • 3 Months referenceable experience within a similar setting
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Part of the DBS Update Service or required to provide DBS check.
