Our client is known for striving for excellence at all times, and is looking to recruit a new member to their team who shares similargoals.
Description
As an accounts payable clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing payments based on agreed supplier settlement terms, taking into account any agreed discounts
- Reconciling payment proposals to supplier statements
- Ensuring that all invoices in the payment proposal have been appropriately authorised
- Sending remittance advices to suppliers
- Processing invoices received in the accounting system and obtaining approvals from business managers
- Setting up recharges of costs to other parts of the organisation
- Processing credit card expenditure
- Identifying invoices to be treated as prepayments
- Helping to prepare bank reconciliations as related to supplier invoices
- Helping to prepare cash flow forecasts based on supplier invoices received
Profile
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will have:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role would be an advantage
- Highly numerate and with excellent attention to detail
