My client is a highly reputable education provider looking for an experienced Operations and Compliance Officer to support their high volume of administrative and organisational work within their HR team.

This is a temporary role.


The key role responsibilities include:

  • Own all administrative, operational and compliance processes for the department
  • Implementing and updating policies and procedures in line with UK employment law
  • Oversee all onboarding accordingly
  • Help to maintain, manage and deliver employee benefits programmes
  • Liaise with the finance team to chase any unpaid invoices
  • Produce all departmental reporting
  • Provide HR advice to Managers and employees
  • Negotiating with and managing contracts with relevant external suppliers

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 2+ years working within an operational role
  • CIPD qualified or working towards one
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Highly analytical with absolutely impeccable administrative skills
  • Experience working in regulated environment ideally within professional services or legal
  • Line management experience
  • Extremely organised and selfmotivated
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law
