Description
Social Work post on the Cared for children service working with young people 0-16 years of age.

You will need to be a qualified social worker with some experience of working with care experienced young people.


The post is based in a busy cared for children service which is made up of 3 individual 'pods' consisting of a Team Manager, Practice Manager and 6-7 social workers.

Caseloads are manageable, with the highest currently being 22 children.


We work a hybrid model of working with each pod being office based on a 3 weekly duty rota although workers can come into the office if they choose.

You will receive a 2 week induction period and guaranteed monthly supervision with your line manager.

We are currently based at the Denton Centre in Denton where there is free parking available.


Working hours are:


Monday -Wednesday: 8.30-5pm

Thursday:
pm

Friday: 8.30-4pm
Free car parking at the Denton Centre
