Our client, a growing banking organisation is looking for an experienced Onboarding and Customer service professional to join their Chester team.
Job purpose
The Asset Finance Onboarding and Customer Service Specialists report to the Asset Finance Operations Manager.
Responsible for supporting the sales team in delivery of the business plan by receiving finance proposals from the broker network and keying them into the bank's CRM system.
Responsible for undertaking defined process steps to check companies and individuals through our onboarding journey, this includes performing all due diligence checks and you will need to have the ability to investigate any queries, escalating with our compliance area if required.
Role responsibilities
- Transfer data from broker network into the CRM system
- Undertake personal identity checks, plus Fraud and PEP checks where appropriate
- Undertake Business credit and verification checks
- Alert to recognising potentially fraudulent activity or vulnerable customer requirements
- Preparation of legal documentation which will include finance agreements and security documents
- Ensuring bank verification is complete
- Undertake asset checks and asset registrations
- Manage own cases from inception to pay out to suppliers following due diligence procedures
- Prepare and send out executed documentation
- Handle and resolve broker queries in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Build appropriate meaningful relationships with the broker network
- Connect with customers at a professional level and build rapport with them
Minimum skills/experience
Essential
- Previous customer service experience
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Good organisational skills
- Reliable, honest and can contribute to create a thriving culture
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Desirable
- Knowledge of regulatory policies within the financial services sector
- Knowledge of onboarding procedures including due diligence and KYC
- Previous experience in a financial services environment
- Asset finance and / or Agricultural experience.
