eCommerce Technician


Fantastic opportunity for graduate (or equivalent) or college leaver who is highly numerate and has an IT or Computer Software/Science or Mathematics bias.

This can be an entry level position or suit someone taking the opportunity to progress in their career.

Purpose

The eCommerce department are responsible for delivering new products and developments for the organisation.

As part of this role, you will be assisting with daily checks and tasks which ensure incoming data is processed efficiently.

You will also assistwith implementation of new & existing product changes & developments with an aim to delivering changes to a high standard whilst working to timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Activation of new clients and schemes
  • Assist with the testing of rates, documents and EDI using a variety of software systems.
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of products to ensure optimum accuracy
  • Provide feedback on EDI.
  • Support other teams within the software system issues & queries
  • Investigate rating, point of sale and EDI data defects and work with software providers to find an effective solution
  • Assist with monitoring tasks such as daily EDI & MID submission
