Janitor required

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm - 40 hours per week with 30min Paid break

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure high standards of cleaning are maintained (as per specification).
To work in accordance with Company Health and Safety Procedures, adopting safe systems of work.
To check equipment prior to use and to report defective equipment to a member of management or to the Regional Office as soon as possible.
To report any hazardous or potentially hazardous situation to a member of management or to the Regional Office as a matter of urgency.
To wear any Personal Protective Equipment issued, as required by Company policy, at all appropriate times.
To comply with legitimate management requests and instructions.
To take care of Company equipment and use it only for its intended purpose.
To only operate equipment for which you have been fully trained or have been given full instructions.
Work with a number of internal and external stakeholders including Landlord, Tennants and Landlord sub contracted providers to achieve high standards
Promote and maintain the core values of ISS and the client.
Use of compactor
Band cardboard in preparation for recycling
Use of pump truck to move pallets
Stack pallets
Use of ride on cleaning machine
General housekeeping/cleaning tasks
To carry out all talks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health & Safety and personal hygiene
Cover colleagues when on annual leave/absent from work
Any other reasonable request by line manager that are within the scope and spirit of the role.

KEY SKILLS:

Previous janitorial experience preferred but not essential
Customer focused
Effective communicator
Highly motivated and possessing a resilience to work under pressure, positive, personable and optimistic with a cando attitude.
Flexible in approachable to cope with the diverse needs of the post.

Salary:
£11.44 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
