Applications are invited for a research associate to work in the group of Dr Xiao Hua to develop the next-generation cathodes for K-ion batteries (KIBs).

This position is funded by EPSRC and will be based in the Department of Chemistry at Lancaster University.

You will also be expected to collaborate with the EU-based KIB consortium SPIRIT on joint projects to characterise and develop solid-state KIB batteries.

The SPIRIT is a highly multidisciplinary and international platform with European members having world-leading expertise in various fields in battery research.
