Our vision is to change lives and our world for the better. With over 25,000 students, we are

innovative, thriving and sustainable aiming to build better futures for our students, our communities and our partners economically, socially and culturally.

USW is a multi-disciplinary university with a strong track record for its partnerships, widening access, student success, applied research and innovation.

The University is looking to appoint governors with expertise in one or more of the following areas: property, higher education executive leadership and law.

The University is also

seeking a 'governor apprentice' who, although established in their career and capable of contributing to corporate governance, does not have previous experience of doing so.

USW is wholly committed to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities who can make a significant contribution to USW's future direction would be welcome.

Applications from women, Welsh speakers and disabled applicants are particularly welcome, due to current
underrepresentation on our Board.
