Hours:
Shifts between the hours of 6:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 6:30am - 2:30pm Saturdays (37.5 hours per week)

Location: 33 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7HY

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit an Admissions Patient Access Officer to join our Patient Access Team.


This role, supported by the Registration/Admissions Supervisor, is a dynamic patient-facing role committed to delivering a warm welcome to all day cases and inpatients on their arrival at Cleveland Clinic London.

You will contribute to the delivery of an exceptional patient experience, ensuring all day cases and inpatients are fully registered on arrival.

A varied and multi-faceted role, you will be responsible for the accurate collection and verification of all outstanding demographic and financial information, including insurance authorisations and/or payments.

What will your duties include?- Meet and greet all day cases, inpatients and visitors to Cleveland Clinic London- Ensure any outstanding patient demographic and financial information is complete at the point of arrival- Liaise with insurance companies and other third party payers as required to ensure relevant authorisation is in place- Collect payments as required utilising Cleveland Clinic London's integrated payment systems- Complete the Administrative Admission process with the patient ensuring a patient/guarantor signature is obtained- Collect payments as required utilising Cleveland Clinic London's integrated payment systems- Provide cost estimates to self-pay patients- Promote and encourage sign up to the CCL MyChart App to enable patients to manage their own healthcare information

What we need from you?- Healthcare experience essential- Must be be able to read, write and speak English fluently- Ability to communicate effectively on all levels, and with a variety of different stakeholders both face to face and via telephone- Experience of patient bookings via hospital computer software preferred- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc- Outstanding customer service, communication, confidentiality and interpersonal skills
