Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a CRO/production Technician on a permanent basis located on the Anasuria FPSO working on a 2/3 rotation.

The Anasuria FPSO is owned and operated by Anasuria Operating Company for processing oil and gas from the Teal, Teal South Guillemot A and Cook fields.

JOB TITLE:
CRO/PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN (T)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Working under the direction of the Production Lead Technician/Production Supervisor, operating and controls the external process and Utility facilities in a safe and efficient manner, thereby ensuring the continuous production of oil and gas. Allocate tasks to a team of Production Operators. Implement statutory working practices and Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures and the Permit to Work System.
  • TECHNICAL
  • Identify actions required to avert the possibility of a major incident occurring due to the process or external environment.
  • Identify and report to the Lead Technician/Production Supervisor any plant / equipment malfunction that could deteriorate into a major incident. Ensure that the plant operation meets contractual specifications.
  • Effective operation of the installation ESD, F&G systems.
  • Ensure that the plant operation meets contractual specifications.
  • Review data/ logs for the Process and Utility equipment. Identifies actions to be taken to minimize equipment and machinery failure.
  • Implements, shutdown, isolation, depressurizing of equipment required for maintenance, ensuring all work permits have been cleared before bringing equipment back on line.
  • The safe, efficient, and effective operation of the installation central control room and its associated equipment and logs.
  • Delivery of onespecification hydrocarbon exports from the installation.
  • Recover plant from any emergency shutdown and minimizes loss of production, whilst adhering to operating procedures
  • Ensure fiscal metering of hydrocarbon systems is in line with company procedures.
  • Emergency response duties as defined by the Company's Emergency Procedures.
  • Ensure handovers are clear and concise for all relevant parties.
  • Deputize for Lead Technician when required.
  • Closely liaise with Marine ballast operator and Marine Supervisor to ensure facility remains safe to operate through all environmental conditions.
  • Assist Marine department as required to ensure Marine control system is adequately monitored.
  • SAFETY
  • Complete prestartup/operating checks, ensuring all interdependent systems are available and bring into line any system under the direction of the Lead Technician/Production Supervisor. Completes post startup / operating checks to ensure normal operating conditions exist.
  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner ensuring that all operations are carried out within the terms of the Permit to Work and local relevant standing orders.
  • Achieve HSE performance against agreed KPIs and reporting as appropriate.

  • Fire Team Member.
  • EMERGENCY RESPONSE
  • In the event of an emergency, carries out such duties as identified in the emergency response procedure and Station Bill.
