An established engineering business, based in Whitby, is currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger to join their team.

This is an immediate start with a salary of £11.50 per hour, Monday to Friday with flexible hours between 8am and 6pm.

Key responsibilities of the Temporary Purchase Ledger will include:

  • Coding and checking invoices
  • Calculating VAT payments
  • Paying money via BACS or by cheque
  • Checking and reconciling supplier statements
  • Filing invoices and statements
  • Dealing with purchase enquiries
  • Any other relevant tasks as requested by the wider finance team


We would be keen to speak to individuals with experience as a Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts administrator or Finance Assistant.

This Temporary Purchase Ledger role is easily commutable from Staithes, Sandend, Egton, Grosmont, Goathland, Sleights, Pickering and Scarborough.
