Working in partnership with service commissioners, our enhanced level of specialist clinical support enables individual clients to live safely at home even when the level of health care required is highly complex.


MAIN ROLE PURPOSE:


This role is designed to increase the organisations capacity to drive its business development agenda within a highly competitive market by providing sales and marketing support to the Commercial Director and Onboarding Team.

The post holder will be responsible to the Commercial Director who leads on Business Development and will work closely with all members of the Onboarding Team in relation to the organisation's business development strategy and growth.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Represent the service at business development meetings internally and externally as directed. This will include both warm and cold calls to existing and potential service commissioners
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership Team to implement the strategic communications plan and marketing initiatives in support of business development
  • To build and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external organisations across the health care sector
  • To update and maintain the OneTouch information system in order to ensure that the sales and onboarding process runs in a timely manner and that deadlines are anticipated and met
  • To closely communicate with internal and external stakeholders as to the progress of new referrals
  • To attend external networks, meetings, seminars, and conferences as required
  • To support the Commercial Director with all business development processes relating to new geographies, contracts, tenders, and bids
  • To prepare, design and edit professional presentations as required
  • Managing Company social media accounts and responding to customer reviews on multiple platforms
  • Creating sales & marketing eshots
  • Assisting with adhoc marketing tasks

  • To represent the organisation in a professional manner at all times actively promoting our mission, values, aims, and principles at both internal and external forums, and to work within the professional objectives of the organisation
  • Support a culture in which a commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and adults is clearly defined and understood by all staff
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times as the postholder will have access to sensitive information due to the nature of the role. Information must not be disclosed to any other employees or external parties without prior consent. All written records and correspondence must be kept securely at all times
  • Ensure that all requirements outlined in procedures and policies are personally adhered to
  • Undertake such other duties as may be delegated to the postholder from time to time
  • This role will require flexibility of working hours around deadlines and the post holder should be prepared to respond positively and quickly to changing needs and priorities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Able to demonstrate strong sales administrative and organisational skills
    (Essential):
  • Relevant experience within a Business Development function
    (Desirable):
  • Previous knowledge of/or working in the healthcare sector
    (Desirable)

  • Have proven IT skills and ability to adapt new technology (must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office)
