Description

  • Work with hiring managers to build strong relationships and understand their business areas, the roles within their team and their resourcing/recruitment needs
  • Ensure frequent and relevant meetings are held with business area contacts and continue to build on those relationships
  • Proactively search available data bases e.g. LinkedIn creating a targeted approach for specific skills and roles
  • Determine the most appropriate route to market for vacancies, i.e. direct sourcing or agency search
  • Generating recruitment reporting and metrics
  • Ensure that all preemployment screening processes and checks are completed
  • Manage the onboarding for all new colleagues from offer to first day in the organisation

Profile

  • Strong recruiting experience, preferably within a sciencebased organisation, with knowledge on current employment legislation relevant to recruitment
  • Managing internal relationships with recruiting managers and HR colleagues, providing advice and guidance on recruitment channels and best practice
  • Experience of recruitment systems and how to use them efficiently to achieve results
  • Knowledge, skills & competencies:
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills with effective planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach in relation to recruitment processes, systems and selection methods
  • IT literate: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice (CertRP) desirable but not essential
