Our client is a leader in their specialist manufacturing field due to sustained growth they are now looking to recruit an Inventory Planner.

• Planning and executing the ordering of stock of key product lines for the company and their key customers; optimising inventory levels across the supply chain to meet customer service level requirements.
• Liaising with our global suppliers to plan orders and expedite where necessary to ensure customer demand is met, ensuring capacity is in place to meet needs.
• Monitoring and reviewing stock of parts held in warehouses and managing supplier forecasts to ensure continuity of supply.
• Aiding in the development and management of an effective forecast model and monitoring demand vs forecast to identify shortages/overages and identify actions to prevent service failures and excess inventory.
• Reporting on inventory KPIs.
• Leading the planning for new product inventory, putting in place plans to phase out excess or obsolete stock.

• This role will require excellent data and reconciliation skills, as the successful applicant will be analysing past performance and forecasts, as well as monitoring and communicating the reliability of product availability to all relevant stakeholders.
• Experience within forecasting and demand planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build professional relationships.
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to analyse trends.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical, planning and problemsolving skills.
• Practical and logical nature in order to gain full knowledge and understanding of product ranges.
• Selfmotivated and enthusiastic.
• Good working knowledge and experience of using ERP systems or similar and Microsoft packages.
