A lovely two-form entry Primary school in Newham, is looking to welcome a Year 2 Teacher to cover a teacher going on maternity from April 2023.

As the Year 2 Teacher you will be working with another experienced teacher - working and planning collaboratively.

If you are available from April, five days a week then Tradewind Recruitment wants to hear from you

The school are offering long-term rates of between M1 (£ M4 ( £39655) depending on experience.


As the successful Year 2 teacher, you will be joining two other Tradewind Teachers who are happy and settled in the school.

This is a fair and friendly Primary School that has a great reputation in the borough.

There will be a lot of support from the Keystage Lead who is also the parallel teacher.


The class has a very experienced Teaching Assistant who knows the class very well and will assist you with your workload.

This community based Newham Primary School, is in easy distance of the District Line and on bus routes.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Have QTS or a recognised Teaching Qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover your employment and education history since you finished formal education and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • Legal Right to work in the UK
