Step by Step Education are looking to recruit a Full time School Administrator to work in a Blackburn Primary School 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

  • Term time only.
We are currently looking to recruit school administration support for a school based in Blackburn.

  • Receptionist duties
  • Attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Administration or finance skills and you should already possess working knowledge of school systems such as SIMS and FMS.

The role will require:

  • Handling face to face and telephone enquiries from parents
  • Dealing with external agencies and members of the general public
  • Overseeing access to the building for visitors, providing visitors passes.
  • Supporting with pupil attendance and speaking to parents, teachers and outside agencies regarding this
  • Updating attendance information onto SIMS and reporting as required
  • Helping to arrange teaching supply cover on occasion
  • Photocopying sorting post, filing and general administrative support

We are looking for School Administrators who are:

  • Driven and enthusiastic.
  • Organised and possess outstanding time management.
  • Able to work as part of a strong, dedicated team.
  • Able to form relationships with parents and children alike.
We have various long term/day to day roles and opportunities available for experienced School Adminstrators.
